Structure In Coaching
Finding structure in daily life is essential for success as a coach and for working with clients. Work through the 5 D’s Coaching Process, how to implement daily structure, and take yourself on the hero’s journey.
“Nothing can be built without a daily structure and routines. These are the building blocks to building the life you want.” — John Kim
Building Your Container
Understanding how your story can help others is essential, as is building strong boundaries for growth. Discover how aligning your life and coming from a place of truth can make a huge difference in your coaching practice.
“If your life space (container) is safe, you will naturally grow, sharpen, and evolve. If your container is cracked, growth is stunted. If your container is safe, growth is promoted. The good news is we can rebuild our containers.” — John Kim

“Getting into the nitty-gritty of working with people is eye-opening in the best way possible. Demystify the coaching process by observing a real-life coaching session and prepare to jump in yourself.” — John Kim
1. Three words to describe yourself
Transparent, unpolished, and still searching.
2. Your superpower is:
Building the bus while I’m driving it.
3. What are you most passionate about and why?
Creating a dialogue to help others. Because then my story is greater than me and I feel a sense of purpose.
4. Area of coaching that interests you the most and why?
Relationships. Because no one teaches us about them.
5. What got you into coaching and what do you love about coaching?
I become a relationship coach because there were too many restrictions in the clinical world. I felt trapped and creatively constricted. I wanted to work in a way that felt more honest to me.
6. Your favorite thing about Lumia Coaching?
The community is real people who have been through some real shit. I believe people who have gone through or are going through their own journeys make the best coaches.
7. What's your #1 advice to someone who is interested in becoming a coach?
You’re only going to be one point in someone’s life. Just be a bright one.
8. Where can people find you online?
